Similarly, a litre of packaged drinking water is charged Rs 20 in most cases, but in the official pricelist put up on #RailMinIndia, it is priced at Rs 15. In a bid to address all these discrepencies and inconvienince faced by the passengers, Indian Railways has decided to make the official price list public on their Twitter handle. The Indian Railways has now issued a standard rate list for food items sold in trains by pantry staff. This initiative is a great step forward in letting passengers know the actual price of food items they purchase during travel. Most of you must have paid Rs 10 per cup of tea/coffee without having realised that the price as per the menu is Rs 7. So where does Rs 3 go
